The second paragraph is rather "re"-heavy

I really enjoy it when the folks at Slate write sniping columns against each other. Recently, Ron Rosenbaum, whom I only notice when he inveighs against something, heaped praise on incandescent bulbs last week. The Green Lantern of Slate's sector, Brendan Koerner, fired off a missive this week in defense of CFLs.

This reminded me of when the webmag's personal firebrand, Christopher Hitchens, wrote an article for Vanity Fair last year, respectfully titled, "Why Women Aren't Funny." This resulted in two responses: columnist Dahlia Lithwick's clever retort in her obituary of Molly Ivins, and Laura Kipnis's book review of humorist Patricia Marx's latest work.
