Gibson daughter marries Kenny Wayne Shepherd
This is ridiculous. Half the article is devoted to Mel Gibson's DUI arrest. Hell, for a second before opening the article, I thought up the Gibson daughter candidates, like 1988 World Series hero Kirk. I then realized the best possibility: Shepherd loves Gibson guitars so much that he married the daughter of Gibson, whoever he/she is/was. Now THAT'S devotion to music.

Technically it's on the front page of the Entertainment section not the "home page/front page" but nonetheless I see your point. At least they've gotten over the Pope's apparent quoting of a 14th century text that caused such offense two days ago...now if the Pope were to marry Gibson's daughter, THAT would be news!
When I checked, it wasn't in the top headlines, but it was listed under "Entertainment" on the main page. I considered it "the front page" because I didn't have to click on a link to see the headline.
